WLS Student Elected to LGBT Bar Congress

Raphael Briones, ’13, was elected to the National LGBT Bar Association’s Law Student Congress. He will serve on the Congress as the Southwest and Southern California Regional Chair. The National LGBT Bar’s Law Student Congress is the only national LGBT law students organization in the nation. It is involved in organizing the National LGBT Bar Association’s annual career fair & conference, administering the annual Michael Greenberg Writing Competition and student leadership awards. The Law Student Congress promotes regional and national interaction between LGBT law students and lawyers and helps LGBT students build contacts within the profession. It also engages in activism of concern to law students. Congratulations Raphael!
