Studying abroad is one of the best decisions a law school student could ever make.
Not only are you taking classes that fulfill requirements you are submerged instantly into a different culture. The beachy city makes you feel at home and while the professors here maintain a diligent yet fun atmosphere, you quickly realize you ain’t in Orange County anymore. Between siestas and eating dinner at 10:00 pm you quickly adjust to the laid back Spanish style. Thus far we have already taken two cultural field trips: one around the city of Santander and one through the state we are in, Cantabria.
Studying abroad has also given me the opportunity to not only get to know my Whittier peers but it also to connect with law students from around the country.
