How have you brought this practice area to WLS?
At WLS, I teach courses on International and Comparative Law. Since joining WLS in Fall 2005, I have taught International Law, Islamic Law, Muslim Communities and the Law and Comparative Law and Sexuality. During the 2007-2008 academic year, I served as the Director of WLS’ Center for International and Comparative Law. Additionally, I have given on-campus presentations on related topics, such as the Danish Cartoon Controversy. Moreover, as WLS is a part of the Orange County legal community, I presented a CLE lecture on law and religion in my native country, Turkey, to the Orange County Bar Association’s International Law Section.
