Associate Professor of Law
Whittier Law School
How long have you been involved with this area of practice and what made you initially interested in this area?
I have had an interest in international and comparative law since my graduate school days. In fact, my interest in different legal systems and the possibility of using the law as a means to improve the human condition was one of the reasons why I decided to go to law school. The majority of my legal education, both during my J.D. and L.L.M. years, focused on international and comparative law.
