Los Angeles Superior Court Adjunct Professor of Law
Whittier Law School
How have you brought this practice area to WLS?
Historically law school teaches you how to think via the Socratic Method. But few classes really teach how to practice law in the real world. I enjoy sharing my practical experience with students. I bring my skills into the classroom where I teach Criminal Trial Advocacy and Criminal Motions. Both courses are designed to give students practice knowledge and skills that can immediately be used in a Criminal Court. Students that come out of my classes know what to do and how to do it, which helps to eliminate much of the initial fear and anxiety of the unknown land known as a Criminal Court.
