Question 4

Why do you think it is important to explore Family/Children’s Rights?

Family Law is an area of law that touches almost everyone’s life at one point or another, and many of our graduates will see it in their practices, even if they do not become family law specialists. In terms of Children’s Rights, children are among the most vulnerable members of our society, and millions of children come into contact with the legal system, whether through abuse and neglect or delinquency proceedings, special education issues or family law matters. Many of these children are in critical need of legal representation as well as policy advocacy on their behalf.
