Question 1

How long have you been involved with this area of practice and what made you initially interested in this area?

I began practicing commercial law when I graduated from law school in 1973. I started in practice at a law firm, and my first assignment was to the firm’s commercial law department. The work was challenging, and the clients were very smart and highly motivated. The combination of interesting work and interesting clients was so compelling that I stayed with the field for the rest of my career.
