National Jurist magazine published an article on the 15 most innovative ideas in legal education in 2013. Whittier Law School’s “Experience the Law” curriculum was number six on the list.
“Whittier Law School launched a new curriculum called “Experience the Law,” which teaches practical skills starting on the first day of law school. Students can learn the legal concepts, after which they go through exercises that help them apply the concepts to concrete material. The curriculum supplements the practical training the law school offers in externships and four clinics.”
