Law School Assessment Conference Draws Crowd

As law schools consider new ABA requirements concerning assessment, a conference at Whittier Law School brought together experts in law school assessment from around the country. The conference, “Building an Assessment Plan from the Ground Up,” was held at Whittier Law School on November 14, 2015.

More than 100 attendees represented more than 70 law schools nationwide, with a headline of speakers that comprised a Who’s Who of law school assessment. The keynote address was given by Barry Currier, Managing Director, ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. The conference was organized by Andrea Susnir Funk, Associate Dean for Lawyering Skills and Institutional Assessment and Professor of Lawyering Skills at Whittier Law School, who highlighted the School’s leadership in the assessment field.
