Professor I. Nelson Rose commented on the likelihood of law suits against the state of Massachusetts by Las Vegas casino developers in the event the state’s gaming law is repealed in November.
“This is on the ballot because the law is not final, yet. Massachusetts does not legally have casinos until that vote is taken,” Rose said. “If they want to spend all the time and money on this, they certainly can, but I don’t see the chance for any suit against the state.”
