ADR Club Places 5th In National Competition

Whittier Law School’s Alternative Dispute Resolutions club sent two teams to the Thomas Jefferson Sports Negotiation competition in San Diego. The team of Jay Jay Ding and Brett Scott placed 5th overall in the competition, out of a total of 36 teams from all over the country. They missed advancing to the semi-finals by only one point.

The other team, comprised of Emily Covington and Ryan Ficklin, also performed admirably, including in a round against the team from the University of Maryland that eventually won the entire competition.

Thanks go to Adjunct Professor Jonathan Fentis and alumnis Gav Gabriel who worked hard to prepare the teams for competition.
