Daniel H. Ahn is an assistant U.S. attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Orange County, where he prosecutes a wide range of federal criminal cases, conducts jury trials and handles appeals, and serves as a fraud coordinator and the office representative for the district’s Conviction and Sentence Alternatives (CASA) program. Before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, an Honors Program trial attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and a law clerk to Judge Johnnie B. Rawlinson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Gary L. Taylor of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

He received his B.A. from Biola University, his M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Southern California Law Review.
