I was born in Argentina and emigrated to Southern California when I was just two months old. Being raised in Southern California, I am, for all intents and purposes, a Southern California native. Although raised in California, my roots remained firmly planted in the Argentine culture and I am fluent in the Spanish language.

After graduating from High School, I attended the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) where in 1994, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a specialization in Business and Administration. Thereafter, I attended Whittier Law School. While at Whittier Law School, I befriended Cohn & Swartzon’s co-founder Jason Cohn. In 1997, I graduated from Whittier Law School, received my Juris Doctorate degree, and passed the California State Bar exam on my first attempt. Little did I know at that time, that my career would, many years later, intersect with that of my colleague Jason.

Almost immediately after graduating from law school, I began practicing defense litigation and I remained in that practice area for the next 17 years of my professional career. As a defense attorney, I litigated a myriad of issues in State and Federal courts across various practice areas ranging from personal injury defense as well as complex employment and business related matters. I also counseled employers during pre-litigation stages and provided them with prompt and effective means to avoid and/or resolve threatened litigation. In addition, I conducted anti-sexual harassment training to management level employees. However, after 17 years of working as counsel for the defense, I decided it was time to represent the victims.

It was then, with all the vast knowledge I had learned from the defense, that I made the decision to switch and represent bodily injury and employment law victims against the responsible parties. I sought out a law firm that would best utilize my legal knowledge, expertise and insight. Having maintained my friendship with Jason the years following our 1997 law school graduation, I fortuitously reconnected with Jason and welcomed the opportunity to join the firm of Cohn & Swartzon in the Fall of 2014, embarking on my new legal career working solely as a plaintiff personal injury and employment law attorney.

My practice with Cohn & Swartzon focuses exclusively on the representation of personal injury victims and of wronged employees in employment law matters. With respect to my personal injury practice, I represent clients and litigate matters stemming from the relatively minor to catastrophic injuries, including traumatic injury and death. In my employment law practice, I represent employees, handle and litigate matters on their behalf, at the administrative, state and federal court levels, involving sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, defamation and wage and hour claims, among others. As has been the case throughout my now 18 years of practice, I remain committed to providing the highest level and quality of legal service for, and communication with, my clients.

I vigorously represent both English and Spanish speaking clients and assist them in obtaining the best possible result, while endeavoring to provide individualized attention and unparalleled client service.

On a more personal level, I am a huge animal lover and enjoy spending time with my beloved dogs Millie and Luna. I also enjoy family gatherings, dinner parties with friends, traveling, hiking, the outdoors and attending music concerts and the theater.
