Professor Schindler is a professor of academic support and bar prep classes as well as the Director of the Bar Preparation Program. She has a passion for helping students to succeed in law school, on the bar exam, and in the practice of law. For the past five years, she has designed curricula and provided instruction in academic support and bar preparation courses at Whittier Law School. In addition, Professor Schindler has contracted to write two books for the essay portion and performance test portion of the California Bar Exam. She has also graded for a bar preparation company, trained other graders for bar preparation programs, and attended the California Bar Exam calibration session.
Professor Schindler received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of California, San Diego and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Whittier Law School. She attended Whittier Law School on a full-tuition merit scholarship, where she served as a member of the Whittier Law Review and Moot Court, won a Best Oralist Moot Court award in a competition, was a Teaching Assistant in Legal Writing, was a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Johnson at the California Court of Appeal, and she obtained a Certificate in Intellectual Property. She also successfully completed the Patent Bar Exam through the USPTO during law school. After graduating, Professor Schindler worked in private practice drafting patent applications prior to becoming a member of the Whittier Law School Faculty.
