International Law

Nicole Webster represents clients in both litigation and transactional matters, for Real Property, Environmental and related areas of the law, in state and federal court. Professor Webster worked in Washington, D.C., at the highest levels of the Executive Branch—in the U.S. Departments of Energy, Interior and Housing and Urban Development—concentrating on federal legislation, regulations and policy, and in the State of California’s Washington, D.C. Office, on federal environmental and energy issues impacting California. Professor Webster thereafter joined Washington Policy & Analysis, an international think tank—then in partnership with the law firm of Miller & Chevalier where she focused on the domestic and international environmental, energy, trade and business arenas.

Upon her admission to the California Bar, Professor Webster clerked in the United States District Court, Central District of California, as well as in London, in the Queen’s Bench Division of England’s High Court of Justice. She subsequently served in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, in the Major Crimes Division and latterly in the Environmental Crimes Division. Professor Webster further is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.

In demand as a public speaker, Professor Webster enjoys teaching and guest speaking regarding Public Policy, Real Property, International, Cultural Property and Art law, in both the public and private sectors. Active in her community, Professor Webster is a Member of several legal advisory boards and is involved in numerous charitable organizations.
