Jeffrey Alpert, Class of 1993

Jeffrey Alpert, family law and business litigation attorney, started his own practice with the goal of bringing home the best results for the lowest fees.

Mr. Alpert has more than 20 years of experience practicing in the areas of contracts, construction defect, wage and labor law, discrimination and harassment, family law, personal injury, medical malpractice, criminal defense and appellate briefing and appearance.

In all his cases, he works to keep costs to a minimum. In matters of family law Mr. Alpert is particularly keen to keep the family savings intact for the family’s future. This is also accomplished with his unique mediation service that is highly cost effective and maintains confidentiality between the parties.

He has mediated more than 200 cases, some concerning more than 10 million dollars, and has mediated more than 100 family law cases, all of which were resolved.

Previous to starting the Law Offices of Jeffrey Alpert, Mr. Alpert worked as a litigator for a law firm in Southern California.

Mr. Alpert earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona then earned his Juris Doctor degree from Whittier College School of Law. He also received a mediation certification from Pepperdine University.

He is licensed with the State Bar of California and serves as a volunteer family law mediator for the Van Nuys Superior Court. He has also served as Judge Pro Temp for the San Fernando Superior Court and on the panel for mediators in for the County of Los Angeles.
