— Brown brings more than ten years of workers’ compensation defense experience —

Irvine, CA – Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP, one of California’s leading law firms since 1937, welcomes Thomas S. Brown as the firm’s newest partner. With more than ten years of experience exclusively practicing in the field of workers’ compensation defense, Brown joins the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm’s Orange County office.

Brown represents insurance companies, self-insured employers and third-party administrators in all phases of workers’ compensation defense litigation, from discovery through trial. He has conducted multiple depositions, participated in numerous trials and developed particular skill in utilizing the AMA Guides to depose medical experts. His range of experience also includes the defense of Labor Code §132a and claims for serious and willful misconduct.

Prior to joining the firm, Brown was an attorney with Lansford & Gonzales and was a director at Brownson Technical School. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University Fullerton.
