What do you do?
“I’m an associate attorney at a banking law firm in Irvine. My practice primarily involves advising our financial institution clients on compliance matters.”

What excites you most about your work?
“The best part of my job is getting to interact with and assist our clients. I really enjoy being able to work together with our clients to resolve issues that impact financial institutions’ day-to-day operations.”

How did your experience at Whittier Law School prepare you for this position?
“I got a great education and learned so much during my time at Whittier Law School. The faculty and administration were excellent. The classroom environment was very supportive. The consensus among the classmates that I stay in touch with is that we had a great experience at Whittier.”

Do you have any advice for those seeking employment in your industry?
“Study hard, take your education seriously, seek out internship opportunities that will further your ultimate career goals. Don’t be afraid to reach out to attorneys who practice in the area of law you are interested in pursuing. And when it comes to finding a job, remember that you are own best advocate. Everyone encounters bumps in the road. The key is to be persistent, and to not give up on the goals you set for yourself.”
