What do you do?
Along with another fellow Whittier Alum, Edwin Ayrapetyan, we are a small firm specializing in criminal defense, personal injury, civil litigation, and estate planning.

What excites you most about your job?
For me, the biggest thrill is advocating for a client and knowing that I was able to do all that I can to help someone in need, despite the outcome. I like to consider myself a problem solver and enjoy the unique challenges that each case presents.

How did your experience at Whittier Law School prepare you for this job?
Aside from the fact that I met my law and business partner at Whitter, I was lucky to have wonderful professors who went out of their way to help us succeed not only with academics and the bar exam, but also how to be a compassionate and zealous advocate. Several of my professors even went out of their way to teach us the practical aspects of the law, rather than just the law itself.

Do you have any advice for those seeking employment in your industry?
Be true to yourself and do not be afraid to take calculated risks. At the end of the day, you always have to count on yourself whether you hang your own shingle or work for someone else. Also, no matter how much you know or think you know, there is always something new you can learn, so never be afraid to ask questions.
