Documents required: For all American students, a valid passport is required and must be valid during your entire stay in the country.

U.S. States Department Information: Check for travel advisories and safety updates on the U.S. State Department website.

Flights: Tel Aviv’s main airport is Ben Gurion International Airport, called TLV. The airport is in the town of Lod, 15k away from Tel Aviv. This trip can be done by train or taxi from Ben Gurion airport.

Getting into town: The airport train offers the easiest way to get into the city of Tel Aviv. Train service operates around the clock on weekdays, with three trains per hour during the day and one per hour at night. Trains stop at all four Tel Aviv stations.

Transportation to Class: A private bus will be provided to take students to and from classes at Bar-Ilan University, and to all legal excursions. The private bus will leave from the vicinity of the Tel Aviv hotel chosen by most students.

"I certainly learned more than I expected. Professor Cogan was very informative, helpful and kind."
