Whittier Law School Study Abroad Program - Israel

These externships are supervised work on legal or policy initiatives or litigation matters. Students research and write memoranda for a State of Israel Ministry official, Member of Parliament, or Supreme Court Justice, or for a lawyer at an NGO or university legal clinic.

These externships may be taken for one or two credits and may begin, by mutual agreement, as early as June and end as late as August. By ABA rule, a course in Lawyering Skills must be taken prior to or concurrently with the placement.
