Whittier Law School Study Abroad - France

Study in one of Europe’s Most Romantic Cities

Study with us in Toulouse, France, scenically nestled along the Garonne River and the famous Canal du Midi. You’ll study at the University of Toulouse, one of Europe’s most picturesque campuses.

Reasons to Study Abroad in France

  1. Beautiful Setting. Situated in Toulouse in southern France, Toulouse is called the “pink city” due to its rose-toned brick architecture. Medieval buildings are everywhere in this modern city. Home to the third largest university in France, Toulouse is a university town, famous for its remarkable monuments, charming natural scenery, and incredible food.
  2. Location in Europe. Toulouse makes a wonderful base for exploring Europe on the weekend, due to its central location. Take the train to Paris, Barcelona, Zurich, Milan or other exciting destinations.
  3. Cultural and Legal Tours. The program includes a tour of the medieval city of Carcassonne, a medieval walled city on a hill that has been painstakingly restored and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Students will also visit the historic Tribunal des Prud’hommes and the Tribunal du Commerce.
  4. Entertainment and IP Law Focus. Courses center on Entertainment Law, International Sports Law, International Intellectual Property Law, European Union Law, and International and Comparative Animal Law.

"This is a perfect program for those interested in a career in the Entertainment Industry."
