Certificate in International and Comparative Law

Requirements for Students Entering 2014 Onward

To receive the Certificate in International and Comparative Law, students must:

  1. Complete the core pre-requisite course requirement:
  2. Attend all CICL Colloquia and Symposia during the student’s second and third years;
  3. Complete 8 or more units of additional approved elective courses.

    Of the 8 additional units, at least 4 units must be numerically graded. Students may choose from the following approved offerings. NOTE: Not all courses are offered each year and some courses are offered through Whittier Law School’s Study Abroad Programs.

  • Other courses may be included with the approval of the Center Director. For approval, consult with the Director and complete the Substitution/Waiver form from the Forms Center in the Registrar’s pages.
