John is training to run a marathon. One Sunday, he looks at his training notebook and notices that he ran twice as many miles that day as he did the Sunday before. He also notices that during that span of time, he increased his daily mileage by two miles on every day with an ā€œsā€ in its name, but decreased it by one mile on every day without an ā€œsā€ in its name. How many miles did John run on the day that he noticed this?
