Online Applications

There are two ways in which this can be done:

If you are ready to apply for admission to Whittier Law School, you must submit your application online. Whittier Law School does not generally accept any paper applications unless you are applying through our American’s with Disabilities Act process (see below). By processing all applications electronically, potential errors are reduced and admission decisions can be made in a more expedient manner, allowing for a decision in 4 to 6 weeks.

Online Fee Payments

In order for an application to be processed, the applicant must submit an application fee or obtain a fee waiver. To pay for the application, applicants must use Whittier's online payment system to submit the application fee. The application fee for the J.D. program is $60.00. The application fee for the LL.M. program is $75.00. The payment system can take payments from bank accounts, savings or checking, and/or credit cards.

Fee Waivers

Whittier Law School recognizes that applying to law school can be a financial burden for some. Because of that, Whittier allows for a waiver of the application fees. There are two ways to obtain a fee waiver:

1. If you have already received a fee waiver through LSDAS, then you can mail, fax or scan and email us a copy of your LSDAS fee waiver letter. For faster processing, scanning the letter and attaching it to an email is preferred. Once received and verified, you will receive a fee waiver code via email. That code should be entered at the end of the online application process and then a fee waiver will be applied to your account.
