I am privileged and honored to announce that after six years of dedicated service as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Calvin Peeler has decided to return full-time to the faculty as of July 1. His devotion to the Law School, its faculty, and its students is beyond comparison to any administrator I have ever known. At the same time, we are so fortunate that Dean Peeler has agreed to serve in a new role as the Director of International Programs. In that role, he will administer our current five summer-abroad programs and work to establish a sixth program, and administer as well our LL.M. program both here and abroad.

I am honored and privileged to announce, too, that Professor Judith F. Daar has agreed to serve as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Professor Daar is a consummate teacher; she has won many Teacher of the Year Awards and is widely-sought as a visiting professor by prestigious national law schools. She is an internationally-recognized Health Law scholar, whose publications are prolific. She will be an outstanding dean. I am delighted to be working with Professor Daar as we begin a new era at the Law School.
