Mission Statement: PILF is committed to increasing the awareness of students, faculty, alumni, and administration to the rewards, challenges, and opportunities in public interest law projects through financial support, educational programs, community outreach and other ongoing efforts necessary to fulfill its goals.
PILF likes to encourage all facets of public interest law. We encourage students to explore career options in the public interest field, as well as creating an understanding of why pro bono hours are essential to promoting social justice. We accomplish these goals through hosting information panels, participating in legal advocacy and outreach, providing summer grants, and educating members on public interest opportunities.
