Student Highlight: Kelly Cheung

The clinic on campus offers great opportunities to work in family law and special education. You get the independence of having your own case load as a student while having the support of the clinic supervisors to guide you along the whole process. Practical experience like that is priceless and everyone should take advantage of that while in school. I would also say that the on-campus career events are great ways to network and learn about areas of practice you may not have thought about practicing. It is always better to get as much information as possible now before you get out there in the “real world” and land a position in an area you realize you can’t stand.
