Andrea G. Navarro, Coastkeeper 2010 Fellowship

I was able to take several elective courses that focused on Environmental Law at Whittier Law School, such as Environmental Law, International Environmental Law and Natural Resources. Through Whittier, I also had the opportunity to participate in the California Bar Environmental Law Negotiation Competition which is judged by professionals who work in that field and which expanded my knowledge of real life environmental law scenarios. Lastly, my involvement in the Environmental Law Society throughout my three years at Whittier raised my awareness of many local and global environmental legal issues and introduced me to various environmental law professionals and attorneys, some of whom are Whittier alumni.
