Q&A with Gloria Sefton

Whittier Law School’s broad offering of courses helped me hone my skills and determine what areas of IP suited me best. Being a “generalist” now, I appreciate the great instruction in patent, copyright, and internet law that I received at WLS. Also, as a law student, I had a wonderful opportunity to be a Research Assistant in IP for Professor Richard Gruner, then head of the IP department. I helped edit the text book he was co-authoring, and received an acknowledgement in the published text, which was a great résumé-builder.
