Hon. Judith L. Meyer
Los Angeles Superior Court Adjunct Professor of Law
Whittier Law School
How long have you been involved with this area of practice and what made you initially interested in this area?
I have been involved in Criminal Law since 1992 when I did a summer internship in the District Attorney’s Office during law school. From that moment forward I was hooked. Criminal Law was fun, fast paced, intellectually stimulating and exciting. I pursued a career with the District Attorney’s office upon graduating from law school. I remained with the District Attorney’s Office until taking the bench on Sept. 1, 2006, where I sit in Criminal Court. I never regretted my pursuit of Criminal Law.
