Question 3

How have you brought this practice area to WLS?

At Whittier Law School, I have taught such business-related courses as Business Planning, Sales Law, Negotiable Instruments, and Secured Transactions. The Business Planning course deals with the wide array of legal issues that an attorney must cover when a client starts a new business, including tax issues, liability to customers and third parties, agency questions, and deciding the most advantageous form for the new business to take. The Sales, Negotiable Instruments, and Secured Transactions courses all deal with provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code. I have also authored numerous law review articles on commercial law topics.
