Professor Lazarus’ practice is limited to family formation law, which includes both assisted reproduction technology law and adoption law. He also provides extensive pro-bono and community services, is the past president of the board and still very active with a non-profit organization devoted to helping prevent child abandonment and infanticide. Professor Lazarus is actively involved in the drafting and implementation of legislation in the area of family formation law.

Professor Lazarus was named a “Southern California Super Lawyer” in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010 by Los Angeles Magazine and Law & Politics, and was featured in 2006 by Forbes In-Flight Radio & Sky Radio as one of “America’s Premier Lawyers.”
