Professor Reza began teaching at Whittier Law School in 2005. She teaches upper level writing classes, as well as Employment Law, Labor Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Estate Planning. Professor Reza spent a summer in Nanjing, China, where she taught International and Comparative Employment Law to Chinese and American students at Nanjing University. Professor Reza graduated from USC School of Law where she served as the Executive Editor of the Southern California Review of Law & Women’s Studies. Professor Reza began her legal career at Irell & Manella LLP’s Newport Beach office, where she practiced general litigation and corporate reorganization. The employment law firm, Carlton DiSante & Freudenberger LLP, later recruited her to practice and litigate all aspects of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, traditional labor law, trade secrets, wage-and-hour law, and class action defense. Professor Reza counsels numerous companies and organizations in the areas of organizational human resources and general employment law.
Professor Reza is an Adjunct Professor at Vanguard University, where she teaches business law and small business management courses. Professor Reza designed and authored several of the undergraduate business courses, including: Legal Aspects of the Business Process, Small Business Management, Business Law and Conflict Management and Negotiation. Recently, Professor Reza had the honor to deliver the commencement address to Vanguard University’s graduate and school for Professional Studies graduating class of 2011.
