Deirdre Kelly is an Adjunct Professor and the Externship Director at Whittier Law School. She currently teaches the Lawyering Skills class, and has taught Introduction to Legal Analysis and Legal Analysis Workshop as a member of the Academic Support faculty. Prior to going to Whittier, she practiced for nearly 20 years as a commercial and real estate litigator. She was Of Counsel at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP from 1996-2007. She was an Associate at Kindel & Anderson from 1993-1996. Ms. Kelly was Vice President and Legal Counsel at American Savings Bank, American Real Estate Group and New West Federal Savings & Loan Assocation from 1991-1993. She was a Litigation Associate at Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue from 1989-1991. She graduated from Loyola Law School in 1989 and from the University of Southern California in 1986.
