Whittier Law School strives to ensure the success of each and every student. The objective of the Academic Support Program (hereafter “ASP”) is to provide supplemental services directly to Whittier students
in their first and second years to improve academic performance and develop necessary law school skills. We understand that the shift from undergrad or the workplace to law school is often difficult, and ASP’s goal is ease that transition so that students are more effective and confident in the classroom.
ASP specifically provides one-on-one advising, skills training and workshops series to first year students and students in academic risk. Please check the ASP calendar link to find out when the next workshop is being offered and when drop-in office hours will take place.
If you are struggling to master any part of your legal education, you are urged and welcome to contact ASP or drop in during office hours. Our goal is to help you develop a study plan that is the both efficient and effective and assist you in becoming a successful law student.
Law school is not simply about memorization; it is about comprehension. Understand how you learn best and then create a study plan to effectively and efficiently learn.
