Extracurricular Opportunities in Intellectual Property Law

Intellectual Property Society

The Intellectual Property Society facilitates interaction among students interested in intellectual property and develops opportunities for law students to learn about and gain employment in intellectual property. The IP Society sponsors numerous events that include presentations by lawyers who practice intellectual property and panels of Whittier Law School alumni involved in IP law. The IP Society also encourages student participation in the online learning program run by the World Intellectual Property Organization and hosts social events, including mixers and events that bring WLS students together with students at other Southern California Law Schools.

Entertainment & Sports Law Society

The Entertainment & Sports Law Society provides opportunities for students interested in all aspects of entertainment and sports law, including film, television, video game, music, sports, and new media law. ESLS sponsors panels with pracitioners and alumni active in entertainment and sports law, hosts social events, and organizes employment-related activities designed to provide students with information and networking opportunities in the entertainment and sports industries.
