International Law Weekend-West 2005

Whittier Law School is pleased to host International Law Weekend - West, a two-day conference to be held on February 4th and 5th, 2005.

International Law Weekend - West is a biennial conference convened by the American Branch of the International Law Association. This is the third West Coast conference convened by the ABILA and follows two highly successful conferences held at Pepperdine Law School and Loyola Law School.

International Law Weekend - West brings together legal practitioners and academics to discuss cutting-edge issues in public and private international law. Panels will address a wide-range of topics, emphasizing the impact of globalization on the practice of law. Topics that will be addressed include international business transactions, international criminal law, international environmental law, international trade law, human rights law, and the law of war.

International Law Weekend – West is open to the public. There is no charge for attending the conference although there is a $35 charge for attending the Keynote Dinner on Friday evening. To register for the Keynote Dinner, please submit payment to Whittier Law School.
