Bar Admission Information

To practice law in California, you must be admitted to the California Bar. Additional information about bar admission in California is available on the Registrar web page.

Graduates of foreign law schools must petition the Committee of Bar Examiners for eligibility to take the Bar examination. Requirements, application forms and additional general information may be obtained on the State Bar of California website at www.calbar.ca.gov.
