Concentration in Business Law

Students wishing to complete the Concentration in Business Law must first file a Declaration of Intent Form with the Registrar's Office. Students fulfilling the following requirements shall be awarded a notation on the student's transcript that the student has completed a Concentration in Business Law:

Concentration in Criminal Law

Students wishing to earn the Concentration in Criminal Law must complete a Declaration of Intent form prior to graduation. These forms are available in the Registrar's Office. Upon graduation, any student who has fulfilled the following requirements shall be awarded a notation on the student's diploma and transcript that he or she has completed a specialization in Criminal Law.

Concentration in Criminal Law requirements:

  • Adjudicative Criminal Procedures (3 units)
  • Criminal Law (3 units)
  • Criminal Procedure (3 units)
  • Criminal Trial Advocacy (3 units)
  • Evidence (4 units)
  • Externship in criminal law placement (2 unit placement plus 1 unit Lawyering Skills)

Additional 2 units chosen from the following:

  • an additional 2 units of externship in criminal law placement
  • an independent study involving criminal law or procedure
  • an approved elective course or seminar on criminal law or procedure:
          Corporate Criminal Law
          Criminal Punishment
          Juvenile Justice
          White Collar Crime
