The Academic Success Program provides a number of academic support programs for students of varying needs, including a Summer Program for admittees who have overcome significant obstacles in achieving an education, a full-year first-year program emphasizing study skills and exam-taking skills for all first-year students, individual one-on-one academic counseling sessions, and an Early Bar Preparation Program.

The Whittier Law School Academic Success
Program's Early Bar Prep Program begins Saturday, September
11 at 10:00 a.m. with a Mock Bar Exam, and Sunday, September
12 at 10:00 a.m. with lectures by Prof. Mainero (Introduction
to the California Bar Exam) and Prof. Heilman (Torts).
ALL CLASSES WILL BE HELD IN CLASSROOM 14 (LIVE) WITH A VIDEO FEED INTO CLASSROOM 12. Seats are on a first-come, first served basis. Generally, there will be a replay of Sunday sessions on the following Saturday at 10 a.m. in Classroom 14.
THE BAR/BRI FULL OUTLINES (A TWO-BOOK SET) WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE FACULTY SECRETARIES OFFICE BEGINNING NEXT WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, AT 10:00 A.M.
To obtain the outlines, you must have signed up on the sign-up list, and you must have the Faculty Secretaries check your name off on the list.
For September 11 and 12, please do the following: BRIEFLY
SKIM the MBE outlines so remind yourselves just a bit about the subject matter
on the Mock Bar Exam, but it need not be in much depth. However, to prepare
yourself for Prof. Heilman's Torts lecture, please give a careful reading to
the Torts outline.
