| Law Clerking
During law school, students frequently work in law firms to earn money, to gain experience and to augment their marketability. Through the online Lawmatch service, the Career Services Office announces part and full-time law clerk positions. Students who have attended a mandatory information session, have had their resume reviewed by the Career Services Office counseling staff, and have filed their resume electronically with the Career Services Office are invited to register on Lawmatch. For instructions and a password, please contact Suzie Fluss in Career Services. sfluss@law.whittier.edu.
Often graduated students awaiting bar results fill law clerk positions until bar admission. Alumni are invited to register and post a profile on Lawmatch as well. Contact Suzie Fluss at sfluss@law.whittier.edu for instructions.
Enrolled students are reminded that the American Bar Association Standards dictate that full-time law students enrolled in more than 12 units may not work more than 20 hours per week.
