Applicants Whose
Undergraduate Work Was Completed Outside the United States
or Canada
Applicants with an undergraduate degree
from a foreign country must take the LSAT. In addition, foreign
educated applicants must register for the LSDAS subscription
service. All transcripts will be evaluated by LSAC and the
Law School will receive copies of both the original transcripts
and the evaluation. In addition, admitted applicants will
be required to submit an original transcript to the Law School.
Proficiency in English is required for admission.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required
unless: 1) an applicant's native language is English; 2) bachelor's
degree (or equivalent) is from an accredited institution of
higher learning in an English-speaking country; or 3) the
applicant has lived or worked for at least five years in a
country where English is the official language.
Applicants who take the TOEFL exam must
score a minimum of 600 paper score or 250 computer score to
be considered for admission. To obtain information about TOEFL,
