Faculty Positions
Director of Communications
The Director of Communications is responsible for management and
operation of the communications department, including a wide variety of
administrative duties, public relations, working with alumni and
development programs for the Law School.
The responsibilities as the Director of Communications is to develop,
write produces for Law School publications, including catalog,
newsletter and brochures. The candidate will coordinate Law School fund
raising and media relations activities by following established policies
and procedures. They will utilize the Law School database to maintain
and access records for development of Advancement and Alumni relations,
conduct donor and foundation research, prepare correspondence and
prepare general office budgets. He/she coordinates alumni association
activities and programs, class reunions and other bi-annual and annual
events. They will also participate as the Law School representative at
professional meetings involving advancement administration.
The candidate will have the prior experience and knowledge of three to
five years progressively increasing responsibilities in public
relations, alumni relations and development programs. The candidate will
have excellent interpersonal and written/oral communications skills. A
Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, business
administration or related field equivalent experience is required. The
candidate must have the ability to use a personal computer, printer and
standard office equipment.

Staff Positions (Hourly)
Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician performs general
building maintenance and
housekeeping activities including assisting with electrical,
electronic, lighting, and
mechanical repairs. Also performs painting, dry-wall,
and carpentry projects as
assigned. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining
cleanliness of interior and
exterior of the law school, including classrooms,
courtyard, carpets, walls, restrooms,
and parking lots. He/she will also be responsible for
delivery, set-up and return of
chairs, tables, markers, computers, audio-visual and
other equipment for courses,
seminars and meetings. The candidate will be responsible
for delivery of books, mail,
water and office supplies to library, mailroom, and
storage. Assists in assembling
bookshelves, cabinets, tables and chairs, and moving
computers and equipment as
requested. The primary role as the Maintenance Technician
II is to provide support to
the campus during evening and weekend hours.
The skills the candidate will have are technical knowledge
of basic plumbing, carpentry,
electrical and mechanical engineering, painting and
dry-walling as normally acquired
through completion of a 1 year vocational or technical
school degree in maintenance,
construction, electrical or mechanical engineering
or equivalent experience.
Approximately 1-3 years of work experience in maintenance
in order to gain
understanding of departmental policies and procedures,
organize work load, and
perform other assigned duties. Interpersonal skills
necessary to provide information
through written and oral communication with service
oriented courtesy and tact.
